'Anything goes' is the motto of this meme. There are so many flavours to the RP world, so why not have a taste of all of them? 

-Post a comment with your characters name and in the headline. Feel free to specify what kind of thread you want to do or don't want to do. 
-Reply to each other!  Feel free to go to RNG and enter 1-6 for a scene type, and 1-20 for a scene to play out. Alternatively you can of course just do it the oldfashioned way and ask 'hey, you, me, scene 1-15, how about it?'

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!



ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
⑧ Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
⑨ Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.
⑩ No hope → You know this fight has no hope. It's not going to end well for anyone involved, but you can't turn away.
⑪ Sneaking in → You're stealing a diamond or sneaking in to kick some bad guy butt, but whatever it is, you have to practice stealth.
⑫ Blue wire → You're faced with a bomb that needs to be disarmed.
⑬ Fight for honor → You've been disgraced or someone you care about has, so it's time to fight for honour.
⑭ Showdown → Time for a cowboy-style showdown. Whoever draws the fastest wins.
⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.



ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.



CRACK.
① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!
③ Mind-reading → You've suddenly got the ability to read minds!
④ Animal → You're suddenly part animal or transformed into an animal!
⑤ Awkward pick-up lines → You're compelled to use bad pickup lines on whoever is closest!
⑥ Back in School / Graduated → You're suddenly back in school! Or if you were already in it, you've aged and long since graduated!

⑯ Back in time → Somehow, you wound up in the past again. Do you try to correct something or just sit and wait for time to jump? Maybe it jumps to various points in your life or maybe you actually think you're back in the day. Have fun, run wild with the idea!
⑰ To the future → Is it everything you've dreamed? Is it horrible? Whatever happens, you're here to witness what happens to you in the future. Either you take the place of your future self or you're just there to watch. Might cause some confusion if people start seeing double though...
⑱ Angels, mermaids, and fairies! → You're not necessary something dark or evil. You're just something different. How do you deal?
⑲ Locked in a closet → For some reason, you're locked up in a closet with someone else. Do you make nice and try to figure your way out or what?

① Cuddling → For whatever reason, characters feel like being close and cuddling.

③ Lost → You're lost and you kind of need help finding your way to where you're going. A little help with directions?
④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
⑤ Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?

[ From unexpected to... still very unexpected. It's not like she hadn't been planning to befriend Light's girlfriend a little, but for Light's girlfriend to do the opposite is certainly not what Sayu thought would happen. Well, it's certainly a score in any case. No matter the questionable first impression, right now Misa is filed as Very Cool. ]

Sure you're not inviting the wrong Yagami? [ She grins. ]

I'd love to though! ... but hmh, I should call my mother and tell her I'll come later today. [ Already on the way to get out her cellphone. ]

[Misa glances down as her phone buzzes and does a double take at the message. She didn't send that, did she? Of course she didn't send a text to herself! But it looks like something she would write, and who else does she know that has a photo shoot today and would use the term 'Love Love Time'?]

[Before she can respond the second text comes, and by the time the third one pops up Misa is thoroughly unamused and confused. Who is propositioning her and why??]

[ Belatedly, I return, with (over-length) written starter: ]

[ His English isn't bad. Teru is a studious boy, always has been, and he's been absorbing the knowledge of the foreign language as diligently as everything else. Even though his mouth wouldn't manage to form all of the sounds correctly, he never felt his grasp on the language was particularly lacking. That was in the classroom.

Now, surrounded by nothing but speech in this foreign tongue, he's not quite as sure anymore. It's not that it's difficult so much that it's disorienting.
To be fair, that goes for most of the situation. In one moment you're wondering how you'll ever find a place to live and find enough money to continue your desired formal education, in the next you're in England, inside a beautifully build orphanage for geniuses. It's a lot to take in and even though the jet lag is finally wearing off, Teru hasn't found it easy to adjust at all. He wakes up every morning, wishing he knew where he was, wishing he could go downstairs and proceed as usual. He doesn't think he misses his mother, but he misses their small flat and he misses the silence in the afternoon.

They gave him a new name - that part had been difficult. When he heard that some of the names were nouns, Teru thought 'Tidy' was a very nice word, but Watari smiled softly and insisted it's not quite right for him. Teru thinks Watari is a strange man. Next he meant to suggest 'Teiji' written with the 'righteous' kanji but then it occurred to him that he'd been advised to keep all his private information - including nationality - a secret. It doesn't sit well with him. Secrets can get so close to lying and lying can be quite unrighteous.

Watari calls him Truth now. That's how he's meant to introduce himself. It sounds strange. Teru is Teru, but not anymore.

Truth, former Teru, doesn't know what to do with the free time hours of the afternoon. His current occupation is standing to the side of the common room, staring at absolutely nothing. ]

[Yagami Light didn't get sick. Ever. It was something his body just didn't how to do. He ate healthy, balanced meals, he was in impeccable shape, and he seemed to have a monster of an immune system. Yet, here he was, listening as the detective ask his condition after yet another sneeze. Of course, he was staying as far as he could while on the cuffs to keep from infecting the other man, but it was close enough to be mocked.]

I'm fine. It's likely a passing cold. [He knew it wasn't a real question, not from Ryuuzaki of all people. The man was brilliant, someone whose mind he'd enjoyed working with, but he was somewhat distant from his cases. No, even that was good. Distance allowed objective thinking, allowed him to be clear headed. They were both overly involved in the Kira case and it seemed to be at a price.

Another sneeze, the tissue over his face trying to drown out as it's secondary purpose. His face was flushed as well, but he could hardly go to the doctor with the cuffs on and a slight cold wouldn't be enough for him to get the cuffs off. Besides, if he did and something happen, it would only increase suspicion toward him. He didn't want that.]

It's surprising you're holding up so well. [How was he healthy?]

[Kira, creator of the new world, still lived at home with his parents, as a majority of people his age did. He cleaned the world between homework and school, between helping little sisters with homework and being a good son. Living on his own would be ideal, but it wasn't yet feasible. Someday. But this man was, if nothing else, an adult. He would have a place of his own, some private place they could go to speak. Even if Light took him home, his mother would inquire about the reason and would find it appropriately strange.

He also now had his name, which would help. Did this man have his? He hadn't offered, but he had tracked him down so it was best to assume so. However, before they could go further, he needed to clarify some things. For one, why a questionable place instead of his home? Was he married? There was no ring but not everyone shared them and even if he normally had one, it could have come off with his suit.

Going home would mean revealing the location of his own Note, should there be others watching.]

In that case, if you don't mind loaning me a sheet so that I can keep track of where we're going, we can go now. If it's questionable, I'm sure you'll understand why I want to keep details for any later questions.

[A lot of nights, Light doesn't go home. Many would find that a tragedy when he has such a beautiful, devoted woman waiting for him, but his interest usually lay elsewhere. He did, however, have a lot of his plate, being as he was both L and Kira, as he also had a legitimate job he had to put time into.

He'd asked Misa to move in with him years before and in some ways, she fit the role perfectly. She was not only truly devoted if sometimes troublesome, but she was beautiful, someone other people would look at and be envious of. Likely, if it hadn't been for her own medlying, he wouldn't have chosen someone so high profile, someone so likely to get them in trouble, but she had managed to worm her way into his life, and he was intelligent enough to make it work.

Tonight was one of the rare nights he did leave the building to go home. A lot had happened recently with the death of his father and the events that had led his younger sister to be mute. The appearance of Near and Mello didn't help, not when he had so much already going on. He knew he would win in the end but why couldn't people just accept all the good he had brought into the world?]

Misa? [He calls to her as he closes the door behind him, caring more about her actual location than having her come to him. She likely would anyway, cooing about how hard his day must have been but adding, seductively, that she could make it all better. He wondered if prior knowledge would convince her they could skip such an act. No, he hoped it would, knowing it wouldn't.]

Yes, we are living the same lifestyle. [ For two people chained together their lifestyles still couldn't be more different. Ryuuzaki slept less, was on a toddler's dream diet, and it was a safe bet he lived most of his life in a bubble, unexposed to anything to build a resistance to. ] It will probably be my turn soon. But even if it is unavoidable, I should take precautions.

[ Ryuuzaki's arm lifted up and stretched for the phone, pinching the listening end with his finger and thumb, then extending his pinky to push the button to connect to the intended line before bringing the phone to his ear. ]

Watari, please bring that. Two. Thank you.

[ Stretching his arm out, he drops the phone unceremoniously back onto the receiver, eyes going back to his screens. ]

It may not be enjoyable for you, Light-kun, but please try to endure it for both of our sakes.

[Misa has a lot of questions about this beautiful stranger she has caught a few glimpses of around headquarters (or 'prison for innocent young girls who have done nothing wrong', as she tends to think of it). As usual, no one wants to tell her anything. But it's so weird! No one else is trying to hide; she sees Ryuzaki and the Task Force members more than she would like, and though she sees Light far less than would make her happy, it's not like they're trying to keep his presence a secret. She has even run lines with the other attractive foreigner who had showed up one day; it's only the pretty blonde woman who always seems to be wearing sunglasses that she never interacts with.]

[Deeply suspicious.]

[So when Misa pokes her head into one of the rooms she is not strictly supposed to be wandering around in, hoping to find Light, and sees the mystery woman instead... she actually gets a little distracted from her mission.]

Hello...? Ah, I'm Misa Misa! We haven't officially met, right?

Mm! If Misa meets with a boy in public it could be bad, but another girl is no problem! [If Sayu is telling her mother, she might mention why and that might get around to Light too. That's bad. But then telling her not to mention why would feel like hiding it from Light intentionally. If Light doesn't know that his (Very Cool) girlfriend met with his little sister, it should be because he didn't leave any way for Misa to tell him. Hoping he doesn't find out and trying to hide it herself were two different things. Lovers don't keep secrets.]

[The response takes Misa by surprise, blinking. Her first thought is that she's sent it to the wrong number, but before she can even think to check whose, a silly and devious grin rises up.

What, so Ryuuga Hideki was perving at some of the girls he worked with after all? She'd never even heard rumor of it! This is juicy!

She looks to see whose name it's from, only to see her name.

Eh?

Ehhhh?!

Sure, Misa's name would fall next to Light's in her contact list (yes, even with him being listed under 'Knight' with a phonetic 'Na', landing him in the Ns), but she wasn't in her own contacts!

And she definitely wasn't replying to herself.

A few minutes pass as she fumbles with her phone, staring at that contact that is definitely a match for her own information. She didn't even know you COULD text yourself!

In the end she can only think of the direct approach. This has got to be some kind of weird server or technology mistake.]

[If he was requesting a sheet, it either meant that he did not have his Note with him, or did not want to risk revealing to Mikami where it was on his person. The most obvious assumption was in his school satchel, that certainly seemed safer than merely leaving it at home, but then Mikami hadn't made his own safe-keeping contraption in his home. At this point, neither had Light. But on the sheet that Mikami tore out after taking the Note out once again, opening it, and beginning to write something before turning it over was the address to an abandoned building that, had the flow of events not been interrupted, he would have constructed and tested the flammable portions of said hiding space in within another few days.

Despite the fact that Light was a student and was certain to have a writing implement somewhere on him, somewhere in his bag if nothing else, Mikami handed over the pen he had written with as well. From there he waited in silence, either for a cue to lead the way or for God to take the lead now knowing the destination. In either case, en route his eyes would scan cautiously for any followers, any watchers. The necessity of caution allowed him to repress the excitement of seeing God, of being instrumental in clearing away his obstacles more quickly, so efficiently that he was ironically making himself obsolete. But ideally, God should never have needed his assistance the way he did. When first thinking it recognition and a gift it was a wondrous matter, but God's plan could not be interrupted, no matter how happy it made Mikami to have a part in it.

At least that was what he needed to tell himself. It was the right thing to think, the right way to feel, and so he would make it how he thought and how he felt.

If only willing himself to have those adult resources Light presumed Mikami had worked quite the same way.]

[And yet it was Light, who was the textbook definition of health, that was sniffing and sneezing like some child. He didn't wish Ryuuzaki sick by any means, but there was a bit of universal injustice, if one was inclined to see the world as a fair place. Even as someone who wanted to go into the police force to help balance out the imbalance, he knew it wasn't.

He watches the phone call, the way the phone is held as if it were swimming with germs despite having only a single user.]

I'll hardly be consenting to something I don't know the terms of. [It's said matter-of-factly as he reaches for another tissue, a tissue soon discarded in the trash. His own focus is on the screen, but the constant stopping was annoying, even to him.] I'll remain at a distance to do my best to keep the rest of the office in good health.

[It was the best he could offer thanks to the long chain that connected their wrists. He couldn't request to have it removed, not if he ever wanted trust.]

[Light was a leader. If nothing else, the way he had taken over this note, the way he'd decided to clean the world despite the personal cost to himself should stand testament to that. He believed in his ideas and he was willing to put the work, the time into them to see them come to fruition; what other honor student spent so much time in cram school and such, despite being good enough without the additional help.?

Nonetheless, he also wants to keep an eye out on this man, this Mikami Teru. Already, he was at a disadvantage with this man knowing more about Light than Light did about Mikami. He'd known he held the Notebook, likely that he was Kira - for killer; couldn't they have chosen a better name? - and who knew what else? For now, Light knew a name without knowing the precise spelling. Though, he could likely guess soon enough.]

Thank you. Then, if you're ready Mikami-san. [He doesn't know his status to add the traditional suffix, so he went with the more formal, more blanket title. He would follow along, being able to watch their surroundings without taking his eyes of Mikami himself. They were going into a strange place, led by a stranger, so no precaution without good reason would seem too extreme at the moment.

If nothing else, Japan was a very crowded city. There was a safety in those numbers, even if Kira could kill in a crowd without no one knowing.]

It's strange profiling a Light I've never played with. Hope I don't offend.

[Again, a response that he's come to accept as like Light but not like Kira. It's annoying feeling the two separate impression diverge while they ultimately remain one singular entity in his mind. There are other Kiras, without a doubt, but they are "the second Kira" and beyond.

It isn't just a matter of being the first one.

Light before this arrangement, Kira, wouldn't have declared his right to an out. Kira would have demanded to know what it was, yes. He wouldn't have cited his right to opt out, would have been so lacking in curiosity towards the detective's methods. There was also a certain childish and petty pride there.


Or has Light grown bored with him now that he thinks he's in the clear, now that the entire team has fully and happily accepted his innocence?


It's not petty. Understanding the suspect is extremely important if he wants to stay alive. Even understanding "Light" separate from "Kira" to some degree is for the best. But the genius detective's lower lip sticks out as he bends further into his crouch, bringing a thumb up to smear across his lower lip and making a suckling sound. Despite feeling put off by this Light who is not "Kira" (or not acting like Kira at least) it's not a sincere pout. It's an act.]

Even if not omniscient and omnipotent, God ultimately did what he did for the sake of the good people in society wanting to make a contribution. For a man thrown out of his own time and place, he was fearless. He wrote it off as his own level of dedication, being prepared, but "denial" might have been the more accurate term.

[Though he doesn't remember his time as Kira, he had once obsessed over what choices to make to not seem like Kira.
