'Anything goes' is the motto of this meme. There are so many flavours to the RP world, so why not have a taste of all of them?

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!



ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!

⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.



ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!
③ Mind-reading → You've suddenly got the ability to read minds!
④ Animal → You're suddenly part animal or transformed into an animal!
⑤ Awkward pick-up lines → You're compelled to use bad pickup lines on whoever is closest!

④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
⑤ Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?

⑭ Enabler → you're enabling the other (or each other) to do something bad, really bad. Addiction, stealing, killing, or just any other self-destructive behavior.

[While Misa had expected an accent, the question catches her off-guard. Surely if this woman is working with the task force she can speak Japanese fairly fluently, right? The idea of trying to hold a conversation entirely in English is daunting, but Misa isn't one to back down from a challenge; she answers in heavily accented English.]

[Misa appears almost immediately after being summoned, stepping around the corner as soon as the door clicks shut. She had obviously been getting ready for bed, clad in a pink negligee and face freshly washed, but that does nothing to damper her excitement upon seeing him.]

[She runs up to Light and wraps her arms around his torso, squeezing him affectionately.]

Misa was afraid it would be another night at the office! I was going to miss you all night long~

If Mikami were working with L and possessed the knowledge of the Note he had used to communicate with and lure the boy this far, this would be seen as an obvious late-save throw. Six points, out of ten. It was at least better than the complete ignorance act. Mikami had encountered suspects like this in his work often enough to have a feel for the pattern. That was what Mikami attributed his assessment to, rather than a supernatural ability to identify him as a Note owner and an inexplicable knowledge of the future.

Mikami's expression could perhaps have been read as unimpressed if it had changed at all since their arrival in the abandoned building.

It was possible that this Kira, the first Kira, was not the Kira who had selected him. It was possible this Kira met with an end; several times the patterns of Kira had changed, but there was known to be a second Kira. How long either of them lasted, who was trusted, who betrayed them, whose morals were at work were all unknown variables. It was no time to be grading God on ability. What mattered was his heart. Under these conditions, honest communication was impossible to determine that.

Then the plan would proceed with the assumption this boy was God.]

Normally, confinement is the most reasonable method, but in our situation it isn't a plausible one. A mask would be the next tactic, but I assume you know I would consent to that much, since I'm responsible enough to not want to get the entire force sick. Medication would be used in conjuncture with the other treatments, but those normally require prescriptions. There are, of course, an over the counter variety.

[No, the problem isn't that Mikami is overestimating Light, it's that he's underestimating him. If it turned out that this was a setup, he knew he could twist it to make following this man a foolhardy but ultimately well-intentioned move. The prosecutor assumed Light had made a mistake be following if he still suspected him, but he was really just unable to see far enough to know how easily Light could talk himself out of situations. A tongue woven from silk had advantages.

However, things really did begin to unravel as the man spoke. Rather than an enemy, he sounded like a less than sane man who had somehow managed to gain knowledge about the Death Note. He knew the Shinigami's name, but he also claimed that Light had sent him. Either there was a miscommunication or this man's inability to think straight was a bigger problem than he thought.]

Or rather, he'd only come, ill prepared, with historic dates and events memorized. Had Mikami known he would be taking such a trip, he would have surely analyzed the case of Kira further for a far better presentation than this, to offer the best quality product--information--as his God deserved.

If preparing for time travel was ridiculous, his failure to have done so was worse than ridiculous, it was harmful. If he were truly to serve God, he knew he would have been best off studying, recalling everything, as if to give a presentation, a set of options, an educated opinion worth hearing at any time as an offering to him.

But this would seem patently ridiculous no matter what. That wasn't comfort, in fact it was so far from comfort that Mikami would question the grammatical correctness of the leading 'but', but that truth, whatever its context, did grant him some certain leeway in that no amount of preparation would have left him prepared for this moment.

It was the situation that was ridiculous, not Mikami. He was taking this very seriously.

I have. Either you're overplaying my discomfort in an attempt to make me uneasy or you plan to try some ridiculous method that hasn't been proven to be effective.

[Being of a mature state, Light found a lot of things ridiculous. Many a time, he had even found his own classmates ridiculous. He had found his own Note ridiculous before running experiments. However, time travel was of an entirely new level. No matter how he went over the words in his mind, this man was suggesting that he had come from the future, something so far past ridiculous that he indeed needed to rethink his vocabulary if he found it the best word.

Light didn't bother trying to think of the right one. Would he need it for the next time traveling man that showed up on his home from school?

More pressingly, this man was obviously not in his right mind and yet he possessed the Note. If he were found, he wouldn't hold up under questioning and everything Light had worked on would fall apart. He couldn't just chalk this man up as insane and walk away. He had to be handled. If he really held Light up to such high esteem, maybe he would take orders from him without too much worry.]

I'm sure you realize this isn't something that I can just accept as fact. I haven't done research on time travel myself, but I am aware of the impossibilities of it. If, as you say, I contacted you, then you should be a man of reasonable intelligence and thus should have prepared proof.

[He would pretend to humor him this much and then work it out from there. If he took it well enough, there might be hope for him. However, it if he really were ill, he would be harder to predict than most.]

A bully or reckless... I see. [That answer is a little satisfying. He hid whatever he got from the situation before, but his childish smile is on full display now. Light is being defensive. Touchy. It isn't the same head-on determination he'd had before his imprisonment and his faux execution, but it's something. If he'd thought it was an empty attempt to make him uneasy, Kira would have met him head on to call his bluff. No, probably so too would this Light. But if Light really thought of him as someone who would do something truly unreasonable or harmful to another person without just cause, he would likely refuse to work with him... If he didn't have reasons more important than anything to work with him. For example, because he was Kira.]

[When imprisoned for a few days Light had suddenly broken character, saying such inane things as to look into his eyes and to believe in him in spite of strong circumstantial evidence against him. As frustrating as that was, not because it was effective by any means but because it had been unpredictable and that isn't an adjective L ascribes to many things, it's admittedly entertaining to play with his "first friend" on that subjective plane of feelings and character. Light, as Ryuuzaki knew him, that is to say as Kira, had only considered them veneers. Tools for manipulation.

Light's new-found stake in that kind of tripe had supposedly lead to their first physical altercation. L seeing him as, wanting him to be Kira was offensive. But he had once been the one to add a line about having L appear on TV as a "joke" in a Kira letter, had been the one to casually declare that if he were Kira he wouldn't bother as he had known Ryuuzaki as the type who would ultimately not risk his life by going on TV even if the entire police force--the entire world were taken hostage. Was he still the type who could flippantly declare his dear friend morally questionable when suddenly taking such insult at it himself?

The anticipated answer is yes.]

But third party elements such as the false Kira are likely to come at the same time. There are also periods during which you cease to operate, but these are all developments half a year or more away. My finances won't hold out that long. I exist concurrently with a present version of myself. I can't very well work in his name without causing a tax problem that would draw attention to us.

There is of course the possibility that you'll kill me and take this second Note. It's possible I'm a madman. I'm repaying the gamble you'd taken in placing your faith in me by returning that faith in you now; but a declaration of sentiments is hardly proof. I still present it for your consideration. [The tingling sensation surging through her fingers is normal. That’s what she had been told by the psychologist, who had been pressing the issue that Linda couldn’t remain attached to her notebook and pens and pencils for the rest of her life. She had to find another outlet for her pent up energy, one that would be possible for her to rely on when it just wasn’t practical for her to block the rest of the world out and focus solely upon the pencil’s lines and shadows she created on blank sheets.

That’s why she is staking out the common room, knees pulled under herself and on top of her hands to try to numb the tingling. She’s going to find a friend today. She likes making friends; she just wasn’t very good at it in her opinion.

So far she hasn’t found anyone suitable. Almost everyone is busy and definitely not going to take time from their leisure to speak with her.

She’s about to leave as her eyes do another quick scan of the large room. Maybe she has missed someone. Then she spots him at the opposite side of the room.

He is doing absolutely nothing. This was perfect. Linda quickly unfolds her legs from underneath her and clenches and unclenches her hands a few times as she approaches the boy, to will away any nervousness.
