'Anything goes' is the motto of this meme. There are so many flavours to the RP world, so why not have a taste of all of them?

-Reply to each other!  Feel free to go to RNG and enter 1-6 for a scene type, and 1-20 for a scene to play out. Alternatively you can of course just do it the oldfashioned way and ask 'hey, you, me, scene 1-15, how about it?'

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!



ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
⑧ Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
⑨ Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.

⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.



ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.



CRACK.
① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!
③ Mind-reading → You've suddenly got the ability to read minds!
④ Animal → You're suddenly part animal or transformed into an animal!
⑤ Awkward pick-up lines → You're compelled to use bad pickup lines on whoever is closest!

① Cuddling → For whatever reason, characters feel like being close and cuddling.

④ Love confession → Someone has finally decided to confess their love and today is the day!

① Nice meeting you → It's your first time meeting this person! You bumped into each other on the street, in a bar, at work... whatever!

③ Lost → You're lost and you kind of need help finding your way to where you're going. A little help with directions?
④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
⑤ Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?

⑭ Enabler → you're enabling the other (or each other) to do something bad, really bad. Addiction, stealing, killing, or just any other self-destructive behavior.

[Linda takes notice of the Truth's thick accent, and she hopes he's comfortable speaking with her. He is probably new, fresh out of his home country and completely disoriented. She definitely relates to that. It's been over a year since she has been at the institution, but it is still very fresh in her mind to be stumbling and faltering with a foreign tongue and new people. Maybe it's because she still feels that way, like that time had never passed away.]

Oh, I just thought you looked lonely over here.

Are you lonely? I'll talk with you if you are.

[He would have chuckled if he wasn't so congested.]

Then I can count on you to see it through until the end. That's a relief.

[With it decided that Light will endure whatever it is that's brought brought--apparently a double dose, no less--Ryuuzaki can turn to face the screen again.

Or so he pretends.

The patterns of deaths are not interesting even if they are identifiably the work of his obsession, Kira. That radio silence is insufferable after regular mockeries and constant developments, movement even if not forward.

All the more because it would do no good at this point to note that this unprecedented stalemate came after Light and Misa came into their custody. He's noticed that criminals with fake names continue to survive, even after he had theorized that the first and second Kira had made contact. If they had then the second Kira who had killed Ukita would surely be put to use. They would see that as proof that he had been wrong rather than proof of his still standing theory on the identity of the two Kiras.

Now L can only see the death tolls as a stamped time card rather than a mission with any delusional purpose. These people are dying to prove Kira is still active. That's all. It's not that he feels anything over their deaths, but that same tenacity doesn't extend to Kira's "mission." Not anymore. It's as if Kira has gotten lazy.

No, worse. Bored.

L doesn't enjoy that kind of one-sided sentiment at all. So he'll become bored too.

It's not his high point and L knows it, hazing the college freshman for entertainment.]

[He had a Note. That alone would have put him ahead of the usual detectives. Admittedly, nothing he could see identified this man as an owner other than possession of the Note, but his was still fairly new. It had been less than a week since it had come into his possession, and he was still learning new things about ownership.

He pulls out his phone and begins clicking through, waiting for the internet to connect.]

Death's aren't reported immediately. [So, he was right in assuming it wasn't something that could be verified immediately.] But while we wait, there are other things I want to know. For example, if you are from the future, then there is another version of yourself here. I'd like to confirm that. I'll need the information on the current you.

[Even saying that much sounded crazy, but if he was able to systematically poke holes in this story, it would make it easier later.]

[With his briefcase in one arm for the Note and a pen already, it doesn't take much effort to divert his fingers to the folder with the ATM receipt taken when withdrawing the money from his account..] If you're to contact the present me, it may draw undue attention as I've drained my bank account. [Fingers cover the 'Mi' in his last name in a manner that does seem quite ordinary for the way one would hold a slip of paper as he presents it briefly for the other's inspection. It's soon tucked away beneath a page of the Note as he folds the book open, holding it against his briefcase like a clipboard in one arm while rattling off the full account number even. It includes the last four digits Light would have seen on the paper; the rest were visibly censored, as typical on a receipt.] ...I would log into my Kyoto-based bank account with your phone, but I'm sure I'm already having an investigation done into an account breach from Tokyo. The terminal I drew from was here, after all. [Whether Light believed him or not, he would not want that level of attention. The current Mikami Teru, he can be certain, will not be contacted, no matter how tempted a good and moral God may be to make restitution to him, to put things in order as justice demands.]

Currently, "Mikami Teru" is attending Kyoto University's law program. "I" am a graduate who's passed the bar exam and who has finished my internship. I;ve been in practice for approximately three years with the Kyoto public prosecutor's office.

[And then, without missing a beat, as if none of this is really all that strange, he looks to the phone expectantly, pen prepared to write.] A face alone will do.

[Ordinary or not, wasn't it also a bit suspicious? They were two people who could kill by name and face and here he was, having some of his name obscured by his finger placement? He hardly doubted it a was coincidence. The older man didn't trust him as much as he pretended to. Rather than being offended - he hardly killed innocent people but if this man was worthy of punishment, he wasn't at all ashamed to be known as someone willing to pass along that judgement - it was of note that this man wanted to play up that trust. That likely meant the name didn't have a common spelling. While Light would have normally had more of an advantage there than most, Mikami Teru probably knew how to properly spell his name. He'd have to do as much research as possible to make sure he had the right spelling.

And then his thoughts stopped, the click on his phone coming to a halt. This man had seemed to know how the Note worked and yet, he had said something impossible. No, he had made a point to say it, as if he knew how it normally worked.

Brown eyes looked at him questioningly, urging him to answer without making Light himself admit to knowing too much about it. Of course he would need a name and a face. Without a name, a face was useless.]

[Ironically, the Kira that had been playing to defeat L sat across from him, looking at his own evidence with as much conviction as ever. Neither of the men knew it, how perfectly this was all playing out according to his plan. Neither man knew about the Death Note and without it, an important part of the puzzle was missing. Instead of being the man behind the murders, he was the detective carefully scouring clues, trying to get electronic information that might lead to more.

Admittedly, things had changed. Light was smart, he could see the pattern. However, he would have been quick to point out that he had changed his pattern before. In fact, this newest pattern fit more in line with the pattern that went into place after the change. The time in which there were no murders was a bit harder to explain, but there were possibilities. Maybe they had known L had taken others into custody and was playing with him as they had done with the prisoners writing on the walls. They could only assume themselves so safe when they were dealing with a man that could kill with only a name and a face. Or maybe just a face, with the second Kira coming into the picture.

He sneezes again, a sound that seems louder for the quiet in the room.]

Do you plan on keeping it a secret until the treatment's about to start?

[The new pattern was only depressing. Profiling with this new pattern would require dismissing all of his past profiling, but this wasn't a team that would easily accept the idea of this being a new Kira. Ryuuzaki himself didn't want to accept that he would have to aim for a new Kira, as if giving up on the first one.

Without knowing how perfectly according to Light's plan it was all going, there was still a sense of unease. What if this new Kira were captured and it came to an end with no explanation of the first half of things? He had once considered that Light and Misa were trying to pretend to be ignorant of their actions as Kira to escape charges, but he dismissed that idea. That wasn't like Kira. If Kira was not playing a defensive game. Not until now.

He had taken the case out of interest. The first Kira was interesting. Knowing how Kira operated was still of interest. He should have been interested. The new Kira could lead to the old Kira. He hadn't been unwilling to pursue the second Kira. What was different? The difference was him. He was impatient. It wasn't like him.

But going after this new Kira would be like having to eat chocolate ice cream when he was craving orange sherbet.]

Impatience isn't like you. It's coming.

That's right! Even someone as smart as Light needs a break sometimes.

[She moves from hugging him to clinging to one arm, allowing him to move but no less insistent on physical contact than before. With Light out of the house so much, she has to get in all her affection when she can.]

Big genius brains get tired too, right? Let's just relax~

[Misa did not have a lot of patience to begin with, and it is rapidly wearing thin.]

[Both unaware that his 'smooth' little act was noted as suspicious and that he'd 'cunningly' distracted him, Mikami returned that look. While Light's look was questioning, Mikami himself missed the nuance, merely patiently waiting.

Maybe God was deciding who to use. If he were a student, his opportunities to follow the news yet today may have been limited. That was what Mikami thought, quite pleasantly patient internally even if his external expression was stiff and ever at the ready for his orders.]

[That was an area of tension between the two of them. Light had snapped when he'd noticed the detective no longer seemed interested in finding the criminal now that it didn't seem to be Light, as if he'd given up just because he didn't like the answer. More than ever, Light himself had to find Kira. It was his name that was under suspicion, his name that was suspect until Kira was found. He'd want to find him anyway, of course, as Light believed strongly in the law, but there was no denying this was also personal.]

Knowing what it is isn't going to make it come any faster, thus it's not impatience. It's preparation.

[He had to trend carefully here. This was at odds with what was written in the book itself. If it was possible to kill using only a face, all of the criminals using aliases would have long since been dead. It was a flaw Light was aware of. So, either other Death Notes worked differently - and if so, he needed this man's Note - or this was a fish for information.]

Then, Kira only needs a face to kill?

[Misa's not just small, she's tiny so she's hardly very heavy, even if she's taking up one of his arms. It was like dragging a yelping puppy on your pants leg.

The other hand moves to undo the tie, the knot slipping down at the pull of his fingers.]

Hm, that's part of the plan.

Is what it would mean now, yes.

[Now that they have met. For Mikami, unaware that his God is not only not in possession of the eyes but not aware of the sheer concept of them, it's a simple statement of loyalty. His eyes are indeed Kira's.

Surely, this will be put to a cunning use against L whose own data so far must suggest that Kira has a limitation of that nature. The Sakura TV Kira drew such a conclusion with far less data.

This Kira was able to persist for six years without such an advantage, much less without the advantage of a visitor from the future. The New World will come all the more swiftly now. That's worth a very faint smile.]

[ 'Lonely'. Truth wonders if that's how he'd describe it. It's not a term he'd normally ever apply to himself. It's not like he had been habitually spending time with people at home, so being alone really does not equate to being lonely to him. However, is this lonely? Being surrounded by people of whom none are familiar in the slightest. He won't miss his classmates, he won't miss his mother either... He just misses knowing where he is and what to expect.

The girl in front of him doesn't seem like a bad person. That doesn't have to mean anything, but he needs to start somewhere here. Making 'friends' may be a goal that's overboard, but making contacts, getting his bearings and figuring out the language are all reasonable goals.

He nods. ]

That would help. I'm new. Have you been here for long?

[The data isn't of personal interest to him, so it doesn't take much for Ryuuzaki to turn his head to Light again. The flat of his thumbnail pushes down on the cleft of his lower lip, down until finally that lip slides out from under his thumb, back into place and tucking over his upper lip in a curious expression. Even if it wouldn't take much to draw him away being as uninterested as he is in the case, and he has never before Kira had such a disgrace as to have to work a case he was not interested in, Light must have said something truly interesting.]

You need to prepare yourself?

Interesting. [The book itself said you needed a name and a face, he'd been over it countless times. There was no tricky wording, it was concrete. The face had to be in your mind, the name written out. How could he even kill without a name? Draw their face in the book?] I hadn't been aware Kira could kill with just a face. That would make him even more dangerous.

[He needed an explanation. What was Mikami getting at? It still sounded like he knew it shouldn't work that way. This Kira was 17 years old, still in high school, and hadn't even heard of Shinigami eyes. Ryuk had, but he hadn't yet shared that information, wouldn't share it until the fake L appeared on the television.]

[Well, it wasn't as if he should have really expected gratitude. After all, his loyalty was a given... to the Kira of the future. The present Kira however, the one who might have actually died in the interim and who had perhaps given up the Note as early as tomorrow, was another matter.

No, if he were behaving like this, Mikami thought, it was most likely that he wasn't of a nature to cooperate. Kira played a defensive game, then. Trusting Mikami at all in the future must have meant things were quite dire, if this were the same Kira. He was still feigning not just innocent but ignorant--though to know anything more was to be Kira, without a doubt. They were inevitably one in the same.

Mikami's eyes went to Light's phone, a motion meant to urge him to get on with the means of proof he would accept.]

[His eyes went back to the phone, the 'click click' of the buttons filling the new silence as he looked for an article, memorized the name, and clicked on the picture. It was a newer article, one this man wasn't as likely to have memorized. It was impossible to do it only by the picture.

It was then held out to him.]

[His eyes only briefly looked to the phone screen before lowering to the page, beginning to write. He only paused before adding the final stroke, not bothering to glance up, fairly certain he would have been given any specifications beforehand. But God did seem thrown off of his game a bit by this entire situation. Understandable. Best to check that there were no specifications, no actions to put him through to make the other aware of it more quickly, Mikami supposed. By the time Mikami had obtained his Note, criminal deaths were reported fairly openly, and he also had certain connections if it were regarding criminals within Japan, particularly in the western half. A high school boy likely didn't have the same resources.]

A heart attack, right now, yes?

[ She still feels a little like a ghost to be moving around the house again. Like it's her realm and then again isn't because this reality isn't one she belongs to anymore after all she's seen and experienced. Sayu supposes she's making progress when she's at a point where she can fake normalcy for entire hours, but it doesn't feel like it's anything. She's detached at one point, at another she's too focused on herself and experiences emotion that she cannot explain or handle and she just wants it gone.

Now is alright. She's got incentive to pull herself together when someone is over and she knows the pressure from it will only exhaust her later, but it's a problem to deal with when it comes.

She doesn't necessarily want to see Misa (Light, now that would be different, though she'd be ashamed to face him as she's now) but that doesn't matter. ]

It's rare that you're visiting when it isn't family meeting time.

[ She speaks the normal words surprisingly fluidly, seated on the couch, focused on feeling the familiar fabric under her and behind her back. She's home. Sometimes it's still hard to conceptualize. ]

[But even before that final stroke, he could see that the man had the name right. How? Had he really memorized every criminal Light may have chosen? Even as he noted Mikami knew the Note could kill by means other than a heart attack, it was secondary. This man, this Note owner was more powerful than him. That made him dangerous; that made his useful.]

As most are. [He began to click through the phone, looking for random articles, random pictures.] You can get the name just from seeing the picture? [That was what he was meant to believe, anyway.]
