[ Light is growing up - it's something Sayu had expected, no, anticipated of course. She'd been preparing to live the late teenage life veraciously through her brother (much alike to a drama on TV only closer) before it was her turn. Yet somehow, it had never crossed her mind that Light might be searching himself someone famous. Smart, beautiful, successful? Yes. But an idol? In hindsight, it's not surprising that Light can score in this league, but it's between shocking and hilarious that he actually went for it. Those reactions, however, are overshadowed by the sheer excitement of having a direct (well second-hand) connection to the world of idols!! She may not have known Misa beforehand, but this is still the most amazing thing to have happened in a while. Keeping it a secret from her friends was almost hard, but not hard enough to weigh out the giddy feeling that came with having a secret like this to begin with.
She did not expect this secret to stand in front of her at the street corner. Good thing she couldn't possibly be more unprepared than that time she stood before Misa in pajamas, thinking she'd be her dad. ]
