[ Other children - technically they exist, but Truth has not done a lot to honour that fact. They might as well be translucent, just a mess of voices in a language he doesn't feel he belongs to. So when this backdrop moves and a single person takes shape, he's almost surprise. For a moment his gaze seems to go through her, but then he finds his focus. He wonders intuitively why she is approaching him because people don't tend to do that without ulterior motives, but it hardly matters.
