[ Roger's asked him this yesterday and Truth had dutifully responded that it's better than being a burden in his home country, so that constitutes for liking it. After all, there is no good reason for him to disrespect the people who took him in and lifted the financial burden of taking care of him from his few remaining estranged relatives.

Now, being asked by someone his age is different. There's no obligation to be grateful, so he can allow himself to just be honest. ]

I always wanted to receive the best possible education, so this is a lucky thing for me. [ Truth's voice is only half-sure. He doesn't know what he thinks of L and he certainly doesn't want to succeed anybody - being a prosecutor is his life's dream! But one thing is for sure, if he's keeping up with these lessons he will be able to do something meaningful later in life. That's a good solace for the ominous nature of the House otherwise. ]
